Embedded solution specialist MDS Technology (CEO Sang-heon Lee) has secured the business rights to Cohda Wireless, the world's leading V2X (Vehicle to Everything) solution specialist, and is making a full-scale entry into the V2X market.

V2X combines vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) and vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I) communications. It collects and analyzes real-time information about surrounding vehicles and roads, contributing to safe driving. Major developed countries, including the US, Europe, and Japan, are already promoting the commercialization of V2X communication technology and application services.

As the demand for driver convenience and safety expands with the development of autonomous driving technology, the use of V2X technology is expected to increase. MDS Technology plans to target the V2X market through a business partnership with Cohda Wireless.


Coda Wireless' V2X solution has passed North American and European field tests related to international standard V2X communication protocols and is evaluated as the industry's leading technology. For example, in the Safety Pilot test, the world's largest V2V test in Michigan, USA, Cohda Wireless' products were used in 1,500 of the 2,800 test vehicles, and their performance was proven.
