Lenovo unveiled the new IdeaPad Y910 gaming laptop at GamesCom 2016, Europe's largest gaming exhibition, held in Germany from the 17th to the 21st. The IdeaPad Y910 is an upgraded version of the existing premium Y series gaming laptops, supporting next-generation immersive gaming experiences through virtual reality (VR).
The IdeaPad Y910 minimizes screen tearing and can run the latest games at high frame rates and 4K resolution (external display required). It is equipped with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 8GB graphics card and a 6th generation Intel Core i7 K processor, and features up to 64GB of DDR4, an ultra-fast SSD, and a hybrid drive (SSHD) to provide excellent performance, as well as a turbo function that instantly boosts CPU performance, allowing gamers to immerse themselves in the game.

The IdeaPad Y910 is equipped with a precision touchpad featuring a non-slip wrist rest and a high-precision mechanical keyboard. The keyboard boasts user-configurable macro key functions, 2mm key travel, and an ultra-fast response time of 1ms, and supports simultaneous key presses with anti-ghosting. It also features a programmable backlight that offers various color combinations and seven different lighting effects.
In addition, Killer DoubleShot Pro Ethernet and Wi-Fi technologies are applied to maximize stability during network connections. Automatic cooling fan speed adjustment and a new rear exhaust design effectively dissipate heat generated during prolonged use, while air intake ports are positioned at the bottom of the brushed metal chassis and a stain-resistant rubber coating has been applied.
In addition, it features a 17.3-inch Full HD (1920x1080) IPS display, delivering vivid image quality and colors with a wide 180-degree viewing angle.
