Acronis Launches Promotion Offering 2TB of Free Cloud Storage
Published2016.08.26 09:06Supports the establishment of a robust data protection environment
Acronis (Country Manager Ho-ik Seo) announced that it will provide up to 2TB of free cloud storage to buyers of version 11.7 and the newly released version 12 of its enterprise backup solution, 'Acronis Backup'.
The free cloud storage promotion runs from the 25th to September 30th, during which new customers and license renewal customers can use Acronis cloud storage for free for one year or receive a subscription service for up to three years.
John Zanni, Chief Marketing Officer at Acronis, stated, “Today, SMBs are struggling to back up rapidly increasing data and protect corporate data from persistent external attacks such as ransomware.” “This promotion was prepared to allow more companies to experience a comprehensive data protection strategy that enables them to access necessary information at any time by storing backup data in multiple locations, regardless of the data’s location,” he said.
Through Acronis's promotion, SMBs can implement the '3-2-1 backup rule' by using cloud storage for free for one year. The 3-2-1 backup rule refers to a method of backing up three or more copies in two or more different locations, such as disks and the cloud, while ensuring that one copy is stored externally, such as in the cloud.
Acronis Cloud Storage is an easy-to-use external cloud storage option that integrates with all Acronis backup products to build a powerful hybrid cloud backup environment. Enterprise IT administrators can easily integrate with Acronis enterprise backup products to perform local and external cloud backups.
In particular, it is useful for SMBs as they can back up all system resources, such as disks, partitions, servers, and data, to Acronis Cloud and then easily restore files, folders, applications, or the entire system.
This promotion is available to new and renewal customers of the products listed below, and the cloud storage capacity provided for each product is as follows.
