Lenovo Korea Launches Convertible Laptop with OLED Display

Lenovo Korea (CEO Yong-Nam Kang) announced the launch of the OLED model of the premium business convertible laptop 'ThinkPad X1 Yoga' and the 'ThinkPad P40 Yoga,' the first convertible mobile workstation.
The ThinkPad X1 Yoga (14-inch), the world's first convertible laptop equipped with an OLED display, is characterized by its ability to produce richer and more vibrant colors. OLED not only offers more realistic contrast ratios and color reproduction than standard LEDs but also supports clear readability even outdoors. At the same time, it has the advantage of providing high power efficiency by reducing pixel power consumption when displaying dark images.
The ThinkPad X1 Yoga is also crafted from carbon fiber, the same material used in satellites, providing excellent durability despite its slim 1.67cm thickness and lightweight design weighing only 1.27kg. It features a 360-degree rotating display for multi-mode use and enhances portability with a battery that lasts up to 11 hours. In addition, it is equipped with up to an Intel 6th Gen Core i7 vPro processor, 16GB of DDR3 memory, and up to a 1TB PCIe NVMe PCIe SSD, providing an environment optimized for business.
The 'ThinkPad P40 Yoga' (14.1-inch) is the first convertible mobile workstation that optimally combines the versatility of Yoga with the high performance of a mobile workstation. Equipped with an Intel Core i7 processor, an NVIDIA Quadro M500M professional graphics card, and an Active Pen, it is suitable for professional tasks such as engineering and design, and is equipped with up to 16GB of DDR3 memory. In addition, it maximizes mobility compared to a standard workstation with a weight of 1.8 kg, while boasting excellent stability by passing military-grade durability tests.
Both products are equipped with a touchscreen for professionals performing creative tasks such as sketching, animation, and 3D, and the ThinkPad AnyPen with Wacom’s Active ES technology, capable of detecting up to 2,048 levels of pressure, providing a writing experience similar to a real pen.
In addition, Lenovo has strengthened its lineup to meet diverse customer needs, including the high-performance workstations 'ThinkPad P70 and P50' and the slim workstation 'ThinkPad P50s'.
