TI Korea Hosts Embedded Solutions Seminar
Published2016.09.08 14:14TI Korea (CEO Tan Zwimeng, ti.com/kr) September 8, 2016 – Texas Instruments Korea announced that it will hold the 'Embedded Solutions Seminar for Internet of Things (IoT) Applications' for system development engineers at the COEX Conference Center in Seoul on Thursday, September 22.
This seminar will cover how to apply Internet of Things (IoT) technology more easily and quickly to homes, industrial sites, and vehicles by utilizing TI’s comprehensive embedded solutions, including microcontrollers (MCUs), processors, and wireless connectivity. Presentation topics include: Getting Started with IoT with TI LaunchPad; Developing Secure IoT with System and Code Security; Home IoT using SimpleLink™; Developing HomeKit with TI Wireless MCUs; and Industrial IoT Solutions using TI MCUs.
"In this seminar, we plan to provide design tips that can be immediately applied to actual development using reference designs created by TI experts, offering more practical assistance to system development engineers," said Yong-Sik Jeong, Senior Vice President of TI Korea. "By utilizing TI's comprehensive solutions, the most 주목받는 (currently receiving the most attention) Internet of Things technology can be more easily applied to various systems."

TI Korea continuously plans online and offline seminars to introduce various analog and system solutions and trends in addition to embedded solutions, and conducts training for system development engineers.

Will TI accelerate its automotive business by combining ADAS and infotainment?
Texas Instruments (TI) has selected the automotive sector as a strategic business focus for the future. The company typically introduces itself as "a semiconductor design and manufacturing company leading the development of analog ICs and embedded processors," and this indicates its intention to concentrate its accumulated capabilities in the automotive field. In the ADAS and infotainment sectors, TI's representative solutions are the TDA series and Jacinto processors. Director Kang stated that the Informational ADAS concept is "a functional integrated technology beyond marketing terminology, and to put it simply, you can think of it as the integration of TDA and Jacinto solutions." The TDA SoC is a new product in TI's scalable, highly integrated automotive processor product family, and is a scalable device family designed to meet the requirements of advanced ADAS. The TDAxx product family implements a wide range of ADAS applications in modern vehicles by integrating performance, low power consumption, and ADAS image analysis processing in an optimal combination, thereby enabling enhanced autonomous driving and collision-free driving experience more readily.
