MakerBot Launches 3D Printer That Meets Requirements of Experts and Educators

With the latest MakerBot Replicator+ and MakerBot Replicator Mini+ printers, MakerBot Print and mobile applications, the latest Slate Gray Tough PLA Filament Bundle, and Thingiverse Education for educators, the latest products and solutions enable professionals to easily integrate MakerBot into their workflows and educators to easily introduce 3D printing to students.
MakerBot CEO Jonathan Jaglom said, “Over the past few years, MakerBot has strived to listen to and understand the voices of our customers by paying attention to their needs.” “As a result, we were able to deeply understand the broad needs of professionals and educators and reflect them in the MakerBot product development process,” he said. “MakerBot’s new solutions for professionals and educators were designed based on customer feedback suggesting ways to accelerate and streamline the iterative design process and to teach desktop 3D printers more effectively and easily.”
The newly released MakerBot Replicator+ and MakerBot Replicator Mini+ have been redesigned and tested to deliver enhanced performance, providing users with a faster, simpler, and more reliable 3D printing experience. Both printers feature enhanced Gantry and Z-stages for denser construction and more robust materials for consistent and predictable printing. MakerBot's new 3D printers have undergone over 380,000 hours of extensive testing across various facilities in close collaboration with Stratasys to ensure reliable, high-quality performance.
The updated version of 'MakerBot Mobile' includes a setup guide feature that helps users perform the entire 3D printer setup process step-by-step.
MakerBot Tough PLA combines the toughness of ABS with the bending strength of PLA to produce a material suitable for functional prototypes and can produce prototypes of jigs and fixtures including threaded and snap-fits. MakerBot Tough PLA has been tested and optimized to print models reliably and easily using the Tough PLA Smart Extruder+. The new bundle consists of three spools of Slate Gray MakerBot Tough PLA Filament and the MakerBot Tough PLA Smart Extruder+.
