LG 'Roboking Turbo' Made Stronger by Meeting Smartphones

LG Electronics launched four new premium robot vacuum cleaner models with enhanced smart features, 'Roboking Turbo,' on the 27th.

LG Electronics has enhanced smartphone connectivity by embedding Wi-Fi into the Roboking Turbo. Users can install LG Electronics’ smart home application, 'LG Smart ThinQ™,' on their smartphones to select cleaning modes and issue cleaning commands, set schedules, and use a 'Cleaning Diary' to check cleaning status via maps and videos, both inside and outside the home.

Users can conveniently finish cleaning or set cleaning schedules using their smartphones before arriving home.

In addition, you can easily update software that enhances the driving performance of the Roboking Turbo via a smartphone. By using the 'Smart Diagnosis' app, you can check for malfunctions and corrective actions on your smartphone screen without a service technician visiting.

The new product is equipped with a smart inverter motor that removes even large dust particles such as beans or cereal crumbs. LG Electronics guarantees the smart inverter motor installed in the Roboking for 10 years free of charge, with confidence in its motor technology and quality.

LG Electronics has also incorporated features such as 'Floor Master,' which activates Turbo Mode to suck up dust more powerfully; 'Home Master,' equipped with cameras on the top and bottom to remember the location of obstacles in the house and clean smoothly without getting lost; 'Corner Master,' which cleans every nook and cranny even in hard-to-reach corners; and an 'Automatic Escape Function' that allows the unit to free itself even if it gets stuck on an obstacle or in a crevice. With a height of only 89mm, cleaning under sofas and beds is also convenient.

The Roboking Turbo achieves the industry's lowest noise level of 48 decibels. With a built-in lithium-ion battery, it can clean for up to 100 minutes on a 3-hour charge.

The new product comes in four colors: metallic gold, metallic red, metallic silver, and ocean black, and the price is 849,000 won based on the ex-factory price.
