Enterprise systems based on 7th generation AMD PRO processors

AMD has unveiled the first PCs featuring its 7th generation AMD PRO APUs (formerly codenamed “Bristol Ridge PRO”) at the Canalys Channels Forum.

The newly introduced AMD PRP APU is developed for enterprise use, delivering enhanced computing and graphics performance, high power efficiency, and a stable platform for customers' IT investments.

“AMD PRO processors have seen significant growth in the commercial segment over the past two years, growing more than 45 percent since the product line’s launch in mid-2014, and are providing secure, high-performance solutions that empower businesses around the world to achieve efficient IT environments,” said Jim Anderson, senior vice president and general manager, Computing and Graphics Business Unit, AMD. “We are excited to welcome HP and Lenovo to their commercial portfolios with AMD technology.”

The HP EliteDesk 705 G3 series desktops are available in microtower, small form factor, and mini form factor configurations, offering exceptional performance, security, manageability, and high value for business environments. The EliteDesk also features HP Sure Start and BIOS setting protection for enhanced security. This allows you to protect your PC and maintain productivity by automatically detecting and recovering from BIOS modifications or attacks. It also provides data protection through TPM 2.0 and a robust triple-layer security solution.

Additionally, the new systems from HP and Lenovo deliver high quality, performance, reliability, and superior video and audio performance suited for corporate environments, enabling businesses to seamlessly perform key tasks such as productivity, manageability, and collaboration. They also fully support Microsoft Windows 10 Pro's Device Guard, Windows Hello, biometric authentication, and BitLocker encryption without requiring separate installation.

Meanwhile, AMD's 7th generation PRO processors are expected to provide the best performance and stability in new desktop PCs to be released in the future.
