SH Trading Launches Super Speed External SSD 'ADATA SE730'
Achieved formidable performance of 500MB/s read and 450MB/s write.

SH Trading (CEO Lee Sang-hong), a company specializing in computer peripherals and storage devices, announced the official launch of the 'ADATA SE730' external SSD in the domestic market, featuring eye-opening, overwhelming 'super speed'.

The newly introduced SE730 is an external SSD smaller than a business card and weighing a very light 33g. Its advantage lies in being smaller and lighter than conventional external hard drives, making it more convenient to carry and move. In addition, it features performance worthy of being called "Super Speed" thanks to the combination of the latest interface and a high-speed SSD.

The SE730, available in gold and red colors, will be released in a single 250GB capacity. Performance is rated at 500MB/s (max) for reading and 450MB/s (max) for writing. It boasts powerful performance that makes comparison with conventional external hard drives meaningless, and is not lacking even when compared to the latest SSDs used as system OS drives. This is made possible by securing wide bandwidth through the adoption of the USB 3.1 Gen2 (Type-C) interface, which has seen a rapid increase in usage recently, allowing it to fully utilize the fast performance of an SSD.

Another major advantage is the adoption of MLC-based NAND flash memory, which guarantees a long lifespan. It is true that the lifespan of flash memory is highly likely to decrease rapidly in external SSDs, which are subject to frequent intermittent connections and power interruptions rather than consistent use. ADATA adopted MLC flash memory to solve these problems and ensure long-term reliability and lifespan.

IP68 water resistance and passed U.S. Department of Defense shock resistance standards

It has also obtained IP68 and the U.S. Department of Defense's MIL-STD-810G 516.6 shock test certification. Designed to provide safer protection against external environments such as water, dust, and shock—which are the inevitable fate of external devices—it allows you to use the product with peace of mind even in the harsh environments encountered in daily life.


The SE730 can withstand being submerged in water about 1.5 meters deep for 60 minutes and effectively protects against dust. In addition, it can safely protect the device from shocks encountered in normal environments.
