Actility Launches ThingPark Market, a Web-Based E-Commerce Platform

Actility, an LPWA network specialist company, has announced the launch of ThingPark Market, a web-based e-commerce platform that enables ThingPark partners to promote and sell their ThingPark-approved products to purchasers who have accounts seeking to build LPWA IoT solutions.
The marketplace opens today for seller registration worldwide, and will be available to European purchasers in November. Global purchasers will be able to use it in 2017.
ThingPark Market meets market business requirements by making it easy to configure IoT ecosystems and exposing them to everyone. Device and application sellers can shorten their sales cycles, promote and manage their products and services, and easily access new sales channels.
For purchasers, through the e-commerce engine they can easily purchase desired services and devices, and through the ThingPark approval program they can easily purchase and install trusted products and applications.
The partner program, demonstrating the maturity and momentum of the ThingPark ecosystem, now offers new benefits to developers and device manufacturers. Through the ThingPark program, sellers seeking to develop LoRa devices and services can connect one LoRa gateway and up to five devices to the ThingPark platform for compatibility testing and certification.
Developers can utilize DX (Developer Experience) APIs through an easy-to-use customized Swagger interface with their IoT application code, and users can monitor connected devices and self-provision from a bidirectional dashboard.
The partner program also launches numerous developer-focused activities including a dedicated online community, hackathons, and boot camps. ThingPark will co-organize the Low Power Network Boot-Camp for Swisscom to be held in Zurich, Switzerland on October 31st.
ThingPark also provides an open LoRa network called ThingPark Hubs through partnerships with multiple startup support centers in Paris, France such as l'Usine IO, Le Village By CA, Numa, and Ecole 42, and also hosts meetings for prototype app and service testing. ST Microelectronics (hereinafter ST) has launched P-NUCLEO-LRWAN1, a low-cost development kit that enables developers to create Internet of Things prototypes based on LoRa™ WLPWAN (Wireless Low-Power Wide Area Network) connectivity by leveraging the STM32 microcontroller ecosystem.
