NIDays 2016 Held at COEX on October 25th
Keynote Presentation: "NI's 40 Years of Accelerating Productivity, Innovation, and Discovery"

National Instruments (ni.com/korea, hereafter NI) will hold the NIDays 2016 graphic-based systems design conference on Tuesday, October 25th at the COEX InterContinental Hotel in Seoul.

NIDays 2016 is the largest-scale global conference held annually by National Instruments Korea, providing a venue where over 800 engineers and researchers from various industrial sectors can verify National Instruments' products and latest technologies, acquire information from partner companies, and engage in knowledge exchange.

The keynote presentation will proceed under the theme "NI's 40 Years of Accelerating Productivity, Innovation, and Discovery." Chandran Nair, Vice President of Sales & Marketing for the Asia-Pacific region, and James Kimery, RF/SDR Product Marketing Director, will visit Korea to share National Instruments' IoT technology and vision through global enterprise solution cases.

The event will feature 26 technical sessions and approximately 40 technical demonstrations across 5 tracks: Software, Data Acquisition, Control/Monitoring, Test Automation, and Wireless Communications.

Additionally, hands-on seminars will be provided for product-using customers. Technical sessions will cover the latest technology trends including Industrial IoT and 5G, and attendees will be able to verify cutting-edge solutions and case studies that experts from various industries—including electronics, semiconductors, automotive, industrial equipment, defense, and aerospace—have implemented.

Jung-gyu Han, Team Lead of Strategic Marketing, stated, "This event will examine NI's technical achievements and history of innovation as it marks its 40th anniversary this year, and we intend to propose a platform as a core strategy in preparation for the Fourth Industrial Revolution and IoT era." He added, "Research challenges such as measurement and big data management in the IoT era, implementation of smart factories, and development of next-generation 5G mobile communications can only be realized through a platform-based approach. The NIDays conference will serve as a venue to concretely present engineers and R&D personnel with visions and strategies for future technologies."
