ASUS Receives 'CES Innovation Award' in Recognition for Outstanding Design and Technology
Published2016.11.24 17:27ASUS (kr.asus.com) announced that it has won 'CES Innovation Awards' for a total of eight of its products in recognition of their outstanding design and technology ahead of 'CES (International Consumer Electronics Show) 2017' to be held in Las Vegas, USA next January.
The winning models include a total of eight products, including the ZenBook 3 and ROG GX800, which were recently officially announced in Korea. The models recognized as innovative products will be exhibited at the media hall inside the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas during CES 2017.
The ZenBook 3 is an ultra-slim, ultra-lightweight laptop boasting a premium design and aluminum construction, while the ROG (Republic of Gamers) GX800 is the world's first liquid-cooled gaming laptop equipped with NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1080 SLI graphics cards. Additionally, the Vivo AiO V221, which was also awarded, is the slimmest model in the Vivo AiO series of all-in-one PCs, and all three products received honors in the computer hardware and components categories.
Through this award, ASUS has been recognized for both its efforts to provide the best user experience and the excellence of its products. Established in 1976, the CES Innovation Awards is a prestigious awards ceremony that guarantees the best design products and quality in the consumer electronics sector. Experts consisting of industrial designers, engineers, and professional journalists select and award the products with the best technology and design in a total of 28 categories.
"It is very meaningful that we have been able to have our value as a global premium brand recognized once again through various awards for our technology and products," said Kim Pan-hee, Team Leader in charge of marketing for ASUS Korea's System Business Group. "In particular, we consider design to be so important as a company philosophy that we describe it not just as an element ASUS pursues, but as ASUS's passion itself. As a result, we have actually recorded a total of 389 prestigious and diverse design awards from 2001 to the present."
In fact, ASUS operates global design centers separate from the company, including in Taipei, Taiwan, where its headquarters are located, as well as in Singapore and Shanghai, China.
