Laying the groundwork to secure next-generation photocurable materials used in DLP 3D printers
Launch of three colors of light-curing liquid resin jointly developed by both companies for over a year to commemorate the MOU

Hyvision System (CEO Choi Doo-won) announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Jokwang Paint (CEOs Moon Hae-jin and Lee Dae-eun) for the development of next-generation resins for 3D printers, and to commemorate this, has launched three types of light-curing liquid resins for 'CUBICON Lux'—DARK GRAY, YELLOW, and RED—that the two companies have jointly developed for over a year.

At the end of last March, Hyvision System launched the 'Cubicon Lux' DLP 3D printer, which uses the light from a DLP (Digital Light Processing) projector to cure photocurable materials layer by layer on a surface-by-layer basis. With the signing of this MOU, the company has laid the groundwork to secure next-generation photocurable materials (resins) used in DLP 3D printers.

"We hope that the signing of this MOU will serve as an opportunity for the domestic 3D printer raw materials market to grow to the next level through the technological capabilities of both companies," said a company official. "The new liquid resin product launched to commemorate the MOU is comparable in quality to imported products and has excellent price competitiveness, so we expect increased sales in the future."

Choi Doo-won, CEO of Hyvision System, stated, “Despite the decline in interest in 3D printers, which were a hot topic in Korea for some time, we have continued to focus our investments on 3D printers, and as a result, we tentatively expect to sell approximately 2,300 units this year,” adding“We will not be satisfied with being the number one in market share among domestic companies, but will continue to expand our lineup of next-generation photocurable 3D printers following ‘Cubicon Lux’,” he said.
