AMD Korea and ASUS Korea announced that they will be holding the 'AMD APU Corps is Coming (Go to)' event to offer the best value laptops at special prices to celebrate the new year of 2017.
This special sale, designed to offer high-performance laptop products at more reasonable prices, will be held on the online shopping mall 11st until January 15th, and will also offer various benefits, such as free memory upgrades and free gifts, to customers who make a purchase.
This special offer event minimizes the burden on consumers when choosing a laptop by categorizing laptops by performance and purpose. Products are categorized into the following categories: the Pro Gaming line, suitable for high-performance gaming; the Gaming line, with reasonable price points for casual gaming; the Entertainment line, suitable for multimedia content viewing; and the Casual line, suitable for document processing and web surfing. Prices start at around 290,000 won (based on the "Casual" line).
The high-performance pro-gaming and gaming lines, ASUS R510IU and ASUS X555QG, are equipped with AMD 7th generation Bristol Ridge-based high-performance quad-core processors, the FX-9830P and A10-9600P APUs, respectively, and support the latest DDR4 memory. They also feature a separate graphics core, such as the AMD Radeon™ RX 460 graphics, for even more powerful gaming performance. Customers who purchase Pro Gaming and Gaming line products during the event period can enjoy even more powerful gaming performance with a free 8GB memory upgrade benefit.
Additionally, the Entertainment and Casual product lines feature AMD A8 and A6 series processors, offering superior computing and graphics performance, offering exceptional value. Furthermore, all products in the Pro Gaming, Gaming, Entertainment, and Casual lines feature high-resolution FHD displays for a clearer picture.
Meanwhile, all customers who purchase products during this special event will receive various prizes, including game packages including Sid Meier's Civilization VI, a wired optical mouse, and a mouse pad.
