SK Telecom CEO Park Jeong-ho took full-scale steps to expand the ICT ecosystem by visiting the booths of innovative companies at the world's largest ICT exhibition, 'CES (Consumer Electric Show) 2017,' and engaging in in-depth discussions on cooperation plans.

On the 5th (local time), President Park visited the booths of leading 5G companies, including Samsung Electronics, Intel, Ericsson, and Qualcomm, to discuss comprehensive cooperation plans for the world's first 5G commercialization. He engaged in multifaceted discussions on ways to build a new ICT ecosystem and to enhance the level of cooperation for the world's first 5G commercialization, covering areas such as terminals, equipment, and service development.

On the 6th (local time), he toured the Tech West exhibition hall, where booths of companies possessing innovative technologies such as autonomous vehicles, AI, and robotics were gathered, and visited companies with innovative capabilities and technologies regardless of their size, seeking ways to cooperate with these companies.

President Park visited the booths of small but strong companies with world-class technological capabilities in AI, VR/AR, and smart homes, and discussed collaboration on autonomous vehicles and AI technology, as well as the expansion of the smart home ecosystem.

In addition, they visited innovative IoT companies to hold in-depth discussions on growth strategies for the IoT industry and the creation of a related ecosystem.
