LG U+ Launches Portable LTE Router

LG U+ announced the launch of 'U+ myFi', an ultra-small and ultra-light LTE router that can be used as a mobile hotspot.
U+ myFi is a portable router that receives LTE signals anywhere in the country and converts them into wireless Internet (WiFi) signals. It boasts the lightest weight of all LTE routers released domestically, weighing only 24g.
LG U+ explained that U+ myFi supports up to 8 simultaneous WiFi connections. Data can be used on any smart device, including laptops, tablets, and smartphones. It also explained that since it does not have a built-in battery, there is no need for unnecessary charging, and it can be connected to and used with any device that supplies USB power.
In addition, it was revealed that it can be operated immediately when plugged into a laptop without installing a separate program or clicking, supports USB tethering for places where wireless internet is not available, and a USB C gender is also provided as standard for MacBook users, allowing it to be used as a secondary battery.
An LG U+ official said, “U+ myFi is an ultra-small, ultra-light router that maximizes portability, allowing you to fully enjoy the Internet anywhere, on any device.”
The release price is 95,000 won, and you can sign up for the LTE CarFi (2nd Device) 10GB (16,500 won per month)/20GB (24,750 won per month) plan.
