High-resolution display with 18:9 ratio

On the 19th, LG Electronics sent out invitations to a new smartphone product launch event to reporters from around the world.

LG Electronics will hold a new smartphone product launch event in Barcelona, Spain, on February 26th, one day before the opening of the 'MWC 2017 (Mobile World Congress)' exhibition, which runs from February 27th to March 2nd.

LG Electronics created an animated invitation. The screen gradually expands, following fireworks launched into the night sky, until it reaches an 18:9 aspect ratio, where the fireworks explode in a spectacular display. The tagline, "See More, Play More," highlights the features of the next smartphone to be unveiled at the exhibition.

LG Electronics' next smartphone will feature a high-resolution (1,440X2,880) display with a screen ratio of 18:9, resulting in a pixel count of 564 per inch (PPI).

LG Electronics is applying heat pipes to its new products to reduce heat generation and implementing various quality tests to enhance safety. It is also gradually introducing AI into its remote after-sales service (AS). AI-powered remote AS services are not only faster and more accurate, but also provide personalized service for each customer.
