Sunnyvale, California – October 24, 2011 – SiTime Corporation, an analog semiconductor company, today announced the industry's highest-performance differential oscillators for timing, offering a unique combination of 10 PPM safety and 500 fs (femtosecond) jitter characteristics that only SiTime can provide. The SiT9121 and SiT9122 MEMS oscillators target high-performance communications, storage, and networking applications such as core and edge routers, SATA/SAS/Fibre Channel host bus adapters, cloud storage, servers, wireless base stations, and 10G Ethernet switches. These devices can be precisely configured to customer specifications and shipped with the industry's fastest lead times. Furthermore, each device offers an industry-standard footprint, allowing for the easy replacement of quartz differential oscillators without design or layout changes.

The SiT912x family consists of the following devices:
SiT9121: Ultra-high performance differential oscillator (1-220 MHz)
SiT9122: Ultra-high performance high frequency differential oscillator (220-650 MHz)
The SiT912x MEMS differential oscillator offers the following features and advantages:
