SH Trading announced the official launch of the 'ADATA SU900', a 2.5-inch SATA 6Gb/s Ultimate SSD based on 3D NAND, in the domestic market.

The newly introduced ADATA SU900 features improved performance, speed, and stability compared to its predecessor, the ADATA SU800. In particular, it enhances durability and expands capacity by vertically stacking MLC NAND designed using a 3D-based process. Users can choose from capacities ranging from the standard 256GB up to 2TB to suit their usage environment.

SH Trading explained that the SU900, equipped with Silicon Motion's SMI 2258 controller and an advanced LDPC ECC engine, reduces data errors and improves data integrity through LDPC (Low Density Parity Check). They stated that this provides superior content protection performance compared to SSDs that do not use ECC or those that use basic BCH error correction.



The SU900's intelligent SLC caching algorithm operates the NAND flash memory in single-level cell mode and improves read/write performance. In addition, with the support of a DRAM cache buffer, it supports a maximum read speed of 560MB/s and a write speed of 525MB/s.
