MOXA has launched the MC-1100 DIN-rail-mounted computing platform, designed to meet the needs of a wide range of industrial automation applications, even in harsh indoor and outdoor environments.

MOXA explains that the MC-1100 features an advanced heat dissipation design that allows for reliable system operation across extreme temperatures from -40°C to 70°C without the use of a fan. It also complies with DNV, IEC 60945, ATEX, and IECEx Zone 2 standards, making it suitable for heavy industry, oil and gas, and marine applications.


The MC-1100 series features the power-efficient Intel® Atom™ E3800 series processor, a variety of I/O connectivity options (four Gigabit Ethernet ports, two serial ports, one VGA port, one DisplayPort), and dual storage, providing the right performance for industrial automation applications while enabling versatility and control. Additionally, the MC-1100 offers a Mini PCIe socket that supports a variety of wireless options including Wi-Fi and 3G/4G LTE.

To maximize system uptime, the MC-1100 supports MOXA's proactive monitoring and smart recovery software tools to continuously monitor computer health and take proactive maintenance actions.

Additionally, it supports dual storage expansion and independent dual displays. It can accept a wide range of isolated power inputs, from 12 to 36 VDC.
