Nexperia, the former Standard Products division of NXP, has announced the completion of all procedures and its official launch as an independent entity.

Nexperia, a global leader in discretes, logic, and MOSFETs, retains all the expertise, manufacturing resources, and key personnel of the NXP business. Headquartered in Nijmegen, the Netherlands, Nexperia is backed by a consortium of financial investors, including Beijing Jianguang Asset Management (JAC Capital) and Wise Road Capital.

Nexperia, which achieved over $1.1 billion in revenue in 2016, addresses three key trends: power efficiency, protection and filtering, and miniaturization. Strong in the automotive sector, most of Nexperia's products are AECQ101 certified. Other key markets include portable devices, industrial, communications infrastructure, consumer devices, and computing.

Nexperia has two front-end manufacturing facilities in Manchester, UK and Hamburg, Germany, and three back-end packaging plants in Guangdong, China, Seremban, Malaysia, and Cabuyao, Philippines.
