Stratasys has launched three new FDM-based 3D printers in the F123 3D printer series.

The F123 series is a 'smart prototyping' solution designed to enable design work groups to efficiently utilize professional prototyping, and it utilizes various functional FDM 3D printing materials.



With a single F123 3D printer, users can handle the workflow required for prototyping, from initial concept verification to design validation and final performance testing. It also enables thorough evaluation and assurance of the product design before actual product production begins.

According to a recent Stratasys survey, accessibility, ease of use, and material selection were identified as challenges hindering the widespread adoption of 3D printing for rapid prototyping. The F123 series has addressed these requirements.

Most of the functions of the F123 3D printer are performed via a touchscreen user interface, and it can also be operated remotely through a network computer configured as a shared workgroup. In addition, all aspects of the prototyping process can be monitored via a portable device.
