Ansan Gozan ZOOM CITY, Pre-sale Starting on the 17th of This Month

LG Uplus is providing IoT services to officetel buildings constructed and supplied by real estate developer ㈜The Chaeum and construction company ㈜Daechang Enterprise in metropolitan areas for single-household customers.

Following the construction of approximately 3,000 units of IoT officetels with Angang Development, Aijoo Industrial Construction, and Taerim General Construction through last year, as the fourth project, IoT officetels are expected to emerge as a new residential trend.

The IoT officetel 'Ansan Gozan ZOOM CITY' being constructed this time is located in Gozan-dong, the central area of Ansan City, with a scale of 3 basement levels and 20 above-ground floors, hosting a total of 465 units (approximately 7 pyeong per unit, 23㎡), marking the first IoT-equipped officetel in Ansan City. Pre-sales begin on the 17th of this month.

The officetel will be equipped with four types of LG Uplus residential IoT products including 'Premium IoT Hub', 'Door/Window Contact Sensor', 'Smart Plug', 'Smart Switch', and an IoT system air conditioner, and residents can additionally select home CCTV Momca.

Residents can control devices via smartphone through 'IoT@Home', a dedicated IoT application. Additionally, home appliances such as refrigerators, washing machines, air purifiers, and rice cookers supporting LG Uplus IoT can also be controlled.

Ryu Chang-soo, Senior Executive in charge of IoT partnerships at LG Uplus, stated, "Following last year, several large construction companies' IoT business agreements are planned consecutively in the first quarter this year," and added, "Given the explosive response to LG Uplus' Home IoT services in the housing construction market, we will continuously develop differentiated products to meet the elevated expectations of residents."
