LG Electronics is equipping the 'LG G6' with a new exclusive UX (User Experience) that maximizes the unique advantages of the wide and full 'Full Vision' display.

The 'LG G6' features a 5.7-inch QHD+ (2,880 x 1,440) 'Full Vision' display with an 18:9 aspect ratio, adopting a large screen that fills the entire front and offers the most comfortable size when held in the hand.

The new 'UX 6.0' applied to the 'LG G6' maximizes the advantages of 'Full Vision' and incorporates user convenience such as ▲a differentiated content experience through a large screen for internet browsing and video viewing ▲a more evolved camera UX utilizing the wide 18:9 aspect ratio screen ▲a stylish GUI (Graphical User Interface) with a 1:1 aspect ratio square layout and enhanced multitasking.

LG Electronics has also added various camera UX features to the 'LG G6'. With the expanded screen, users can now view photos taken simultaneously while shooting. The company stated that because recently taken photos are displayed like film on the side of the shooting screen, there is no need to move to the gallery to check photos while shooting.

It was also added that it provides a 'Square Camera' feature that splits the 18:9 aspect ratio screen in half to take 1:1 ratio photos commonly used on social media, and allows users to immediately view, edit, and upload them from the bottom.

In addition, various shooting modes have been added, including a new 18:9 aspect ratio shooting mode that fills the 'Full Vision' display, and a 'Food Mode' that emphasizes saturation and color. You can also create GIF videos directly from the gallery by combining a minimum of 2 to a maximum of 100 photos.

The 'LG G6' completed its GUI by applying a square layout throughout to achieve balance. The design utilized the 1:1 ratio of the 'Full Vision' display, where the 18:9 aspect ratio is divided into exactly two squares.

The call screen, address book, gallery, music player, and calendar are designed for visual stability by splitting the screen 1:1. A collage lock screen has also been added, allowing you to display multiple square photos on the expanded screen. Multitasking has also been further enhanced, enabling users to perform different tasks on the wider screen divided into two squares.

LG Electronics MC Business Division President Cho Jun-ho stated, “The ‘LG G6’ is a premium smartphone equipped with new features and convenient usability utilizing a full-screen ‘Full Vision’ display,” adding, “Users will be able to experience a completely different level of smartphone usage that they have never experienced before.”
