US publications Reviewed.com and Digital Trends reported, respectively, that it was “the king of picture quality,” “the best TV we have ever tested,” “the TV I’ve always dreamed of,” and “a major achievement for LG and the best TV,” while UK publication Stuff praised the design, which is less than 4mm thick, and the picture quality, stating, “Breathtaking, HDR video is phenomenal.”
The U.S. review website Reviewed.com evaluated the 'Signature OLED TV W,' gave it a perfect score of 10, and selected it as an 'Editor's Choice.' LG OLED TVs were named 'Best TV' by Reviewed.com for three consecutive years, from 2014 to 2016.
The U.S. IT specialized media outlet Digital Trends also gave it a perfect 10, and &lsqAlong with being selected as 'Editor's Choice,' it was praised for its "outstanding brightness and color performance, clearly displaying black levels even in bright spaces."
British magazine Stuff also gave it a perfect five-star rating, noting “perfect blacks and brighter colors” and stating, “Because there is no backlight, dark areas on the screen that are in contact with bright areas do not become blurry and are clearly distinguished.”
