Netflix Selects LG as Recommended TV: "Fast and Convenient"

Since 2015, Netflix has been selecting TVs based on evaluations of convenience, fast performance, and new features. LG Electronics has been named to this list for three consecutive years. LG Electronics has applied a Netflix shortcut button to the remotes of all smart TVs released this year.
LG Electronics expects to create synergy with Netflix in the high-definition content market following its selection as a 'Netflix Recommended TV.' This is because LG Electronics' premium TVs, such as OLED TVs and Super Ultra HD TVs, are capable of playing not only 4K video but also Dolby Vision, HDR10, and HLG.
Netflix is an internet TV provider with 93 million members across approximately 190 countries worldwide. It offers a variety of original content, including self-produced movies, dramas, and documentaries. LG Electronics provides "Channel Plus," which allows users to watch broadcast content for free when their smart TVs are connected to the internet. In Korea, it broadcasts 54 channels in real-time, including general programming, news, home shopping, business, and children's programming. In the United States, it offers 77 channels, including FOX Sports, CNET, Bloomberg, and Reuters.
