Bridgelux Launches High Color Rendering Index (CRI) LED Array "DECOR" Series
November 16, 2011 - Bridgelux Inc., a leader in lighting innovation with high-performance, environmentally friendly, and cost-effective LED solutions, today announced its Decor line, a family of high color rendering index (CRI) LED arrays. Featuring Bridgelux's ES and RS array technologies to deliver the brightest solid-state lighting (SSL) in the industry, the Decor line is optimized to meet the needs of applications such as retail, hotels, restaurants, museums, and high-end architectural lighting.
Featuring a three-level MacAdams Ellipse color control option with a CRI of 97, the Decor arrays provide lighting designers with maximum color rendering across a wide light level range, enabling them to create beautiful and sophisticated lighting effects. Offering 1200-2500 lumens, these new models are spectrally designed to replicate the light quality of halogen or incandescent bulbs as closely as possible. They support R9 and R15 values of 98, ensuring clean, natural lighting and enhancing red tones while preserving skin tones. Bridgelux's new Decor series, adding to its existing standard minimum 80 and 90 CRI models, further expands the lighting options available to lighting designers.

The Decor Array delivers the same light output as a 75-150 watt halogen bulb, using only 25-50 watts. Furthermore, the Decor Array offers the same form factor as existing Bridgelux array products, allowing existing customers to easily upgrade with minimal design effort.
