Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+ Experience Zones Operating at Over 3,000 Locations Nationwide
Published2017.04.03 11:10Samsung Electronics will operate the largest-scale pre-experience zones ever following the unveiling of the 'Galaxy S8' and 'Galaxy S8+' starting April 1st.
The 'Galaxy S8' and 'Galaxy S8+' will be on display at approximately 3,000 S ZONE locations nationwide—specialized Samsung mobile experience-type retail stores within Digital Plaza, Hi-Mart, Electronics Land, and mobile carrier dealerships.
At S ZONE, visitors can experience key features of the 'Galaxy S8' and 'Galaxy S8+' including the intelligent interface 'Bixby', biometric security features utilizing iris and face recognition, and 'Samsung Dex,' which enables using a smartphone like a desktop PC.
Additionally, experience zones will be opened at major department stores and large shopping malls with high foot traffic nationwide, as well as at multiplexes (Famiestation, Busan Centum City, Gwangju U-Square, etc.).
The 'Galaxy S8' and 'Galaxy S8+' experience zones are scheduled to expand to 80 regions nationwide by May, and iris recognition functionality for financial transactions can also be experienced at approximately 50 major bank branches nationwide.
Pre-sales begin on April 7th, and device activation for pre-sale products is available from April 18th, ahead of the domestic official launch date of April 21st.
