Over 500 presentations and more than 150 exhibits
Hands-on training tailored to participant levels, labs covering various domains

Nvidia announced that it will host the eighth GPU Technology Conference (GTC) in May. Particularly, on the third day of the event, Jensen Huang, Nvidia's founder and CEO, is expected to deliver a keynote speech attracting approximately 8,000 attendees.

The GTC, held annually, has grown into the world's largest event attended by developers, data scientists, and senior executives in the fields of artificial intelligence (AI), virtual reality (VR), and autonomous vehicles.

This year's event will feature over 500 presentation sessions and more than 150 exhibits, covering key topics that are drawing significant attention in the industry, including deep learning and artificial intelligence, data centers and cloud computing, analytics, healthcare, autonomous driving and AI vehicles, life sciences, defense, virtual/augmented reality, computer and machine vision, smart cities, robotics, and IoT.



Key speakers include tech leaders from Adobe, Alibaba, Amazon Web Services, Argo AI, Audi, Baidu, Boeing, Facebook, Ford, GE, GlaxoSmithKline, Google, HERE, Honda, IBM, JP Morgan Chase, Lockheed Martin, Massachusetts General Hospital, Mercedes-Benz, Microsoft, MIT, NASA, National Cancer Institute, National Institute of Health, NYU, Oculus, OpenAI, Pixar, Salesforce, Samsung, Stanford, and VMware.

GTC also provides participating developers and data scientists with opportunities to hone their specialized skills. This year's event will feature approximately 70 labs in areas such as autonomous vehicle technology, CUDA, deep learning, embedded applications, OpenACC, and virtual reality, including hands-on training tailored to each participant's level, with an expected attendance of 4,000 developers. Additionally, the NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute will operate 12 labs providing training tailored to individual levels of 2,500 data scientists, utilizing the latest AI frameworks and SDKs.

GTC also hosts an annual awards ceremony where Nvidia recognizes groundbreaking AI startups. This year, three companies will be selected from approximately 2,000 AI startups participating in Nvidia's Inception program and will be awarded a total prize of $600,000. Furthermore, as part of the 'Global Impact Award' initiative, two research organizations leading efforts to address important social and humanitarian challenges will be selected and provided with prize money of $150,000.
