LG Electronics, 2017 Soundbar Equipped with 'Dolby Atmos' to Enhance Movie Immersion

LG Electronics has launched the 2017 'Sound Bar' (model names: SJ9/SJ8/SJ5). The Sound Bar is a product suitable for consumers who want deeper and richer sound than the speakers built into their TVs.
The flagship model, the 'SJ9', supports Dolby's advanced surround sound technology, 'Dolby Atmos', allowing users to enjoy theater-like sound at home. This feature makes it appear as if sound is coming from in front of, behind, or above the user, depending on the movement or position of objects on the screen. It is equipped with 5.1.2 channel and 500W output. It delivers immersive sound using two up-firing speakers that project sound towards the ceiling.
In addition to the 'SJ9', the 'SJ8' can also play high-quality audio up to 24-bit, 192kHz. The upscaling function transforms standard audio into high-quality sound with rich volume. By connecting a smartphone to Google Chromecast, you can directly play music from YouTube, TuneIn, Bugs, and more.
