LG Electronics has ranked first in the world in the 21:9 aspect ratio monitor market for four consecutive years.

The 21:9 monitor market grew by approximately 60% in sales volume last year, surpassing 900,000 units. This represents more than an eightfold increase compared to 2013, when global manufacturers first entered the 21:9 monitor market. Growing rapidly, 21:9 monitors are becoming a new growth engine for the monitor market, which had entered a period of stagnation.



The 'LG UltraWide Monitor' features a wide screen that allows you to view two document windows and one internet window side-by-side, and you can also display Excel and PowerPoint on a single screen to analyze data and write reports. Additionally, when running games that support the 21:9 aspect ratio, such as League of Legends, Battlefield, World of Warcraft, FIFA Online 3, and GTA 5, you can see the left and right sides that were not visible on conventional 16:9 monitors.

The 38-inch 'LG UltraWide Monitor (model name: 38UC99)', the world's largest 21:9 monitor, features a WQHD+ display, offering a resolution approximately three times that of Full HD (1,920x1,080). Its screen area is comparable to using two 24-inch monitors with a 16:9 aspect ratio, commonly used for business, placed side-by-side.

The 34-inch 'LG UltraWide Gaming Monitor (Model Name: 34UC79G)' optimized for gaming displays up to 144 frames per second. Compared to a standard monitor, it is more than double, displaying fast-moving racing and shooting games smoothly.

Jang Ik-hwan, Senior Vice President of IT BD at LG Electronics, emphasized, “We will continue to lead the global market with the ‘LG UltraWide Monitor,’ which is so convenient that once you use it, you won’t be able to go back to using existing 16:9 aspect ratio monitors.”
