Intel Korea has been named one of the "2017 Most Respected Companies in Korea," organized by the Korea Management Consulting Association (KMAC), for the seventh consecutive year. Since first being selected as the number one company in the IT solutions industry sector in 2011, Intel Korea has earned the honor of winning first place for seven consecutive years. The "Most Respected Companies in Korea" survey analyzes a total of six major corporate values: innovation capability, shareholder value, employee value, customer value, social value, and image value.

Intel is taking the lead in fostering the talent required for the Fourth Industrial Revolution. In July 2016, as part of its corporate social responsibility activities, Intel signed an MOU with the Ministry of Education and agreed to jointly establish Innovation Labs and provide free education to middle and high schools nationwide. Under the MOU, Intel plans to establish 10 Innovation Labs jointly with the Ministry of Education and provide free education for the Free Semester System to 20 schools by the end of 2017. To date, Intel has established two innovation labs in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do focused on IoT, computing, and artificial intelligence.

Students who received guidance at the Innovation Lab conducted a six-month research and development project to help improve the physical activity of visually impaired students, and also helped improve the motor skills of visually impaired students by presenting the project's result, the 'piano stairs,' to a school for the disabled.

The Korea Management Consulting Association's "Most Respected Companies in Korea" survey is conducted from September to December 2016, targeting 7,440 industry figures, 230 securities analysts, and 4,560 general consumers through online, interviewer, telephone, and fax surveys. For the top-ranked companies in each industry, the survey was conducted exclusively among industry executives and securities analysts who have a deep understanding of the respective industries.
