Quantum announced the launch of 'StorNext 6', a high-capacity data management storage solution equipped with intelligent data management capabilities.

StorNext 6 has enhanced its family of scale-out tiered storage solutions, consisting of flash, disk, tape, and public/private cloud storage, by increasing streaming performance through intelligent data management capabilities.

Quantum's StorNext, which allows users to combine only the necessary functions, is highly useful not only in the media and entertainment sector but also in fields that require data storage, such as genetic engineering, academic research, video surveillance, oil and gas, and public security.



This new product specifically supports the storage of rapidly increasing large volumes of data using existing NAS solutions. Existing NAS products are difficult to upgrade, fail to meet performance requirements, and are unable to manage parallel workloads.

StorNext 6 overcomes these limitations while enabling access to and sharing of files across distributed regions in an effective and cost-effective manner, and provides protection, management, and auditing of changes throughout the data lifecycle of archived data. Quantum maintains optimal performance levels and ensures visibility and accessibility across all tiers by integrating all functions through a multi-tier storage solution.
