Dassault Systèmes Presents 3DEXPERIENCE Applications at Hanover Fair

Allows you to experience part of the actual production process through the examples of Rex and Westrick.
Dassault Systèmes will participate in the Hanover Industrial Fair for five days from April 24 to 28.
We will introduce how the 3DEXPERIENCE platform supports departments in connecting digitally and creating added value.
Examples include the engineering company Bosch Rexroth and the consumer goods packaging company Westrock.
Rexroth performs system engineering by integrating its equipment programming language with virtual models on Dassault Systèmes' 3DEXPERIENCE platform. Developers can configure and test software, electronic circuits, and devices through application interfaces. Even after implementation is complete, if modifications are required, virtual commissioning features can be used to reduce unproductive modification time. Furthermore, early error detection capabilities significantly reduce the likelihood of rework. Through augmented reality demonstrations, visitors can experience a part of the operating factory environment to see how maintenance processes are conducted and managed during actual production.
Westrock allows you to experience a fully integrated and digitized corporate value creation process across the entire process, from reflecting customer requirements to store displays at the customer touchpoint. In fact, Westrock reduced the packaging development time from 18 months to 6 months.
A Dassault Systèmes official stated, "The adoption of the platform has provided us with more systematic insights into our entire business process," adding, "This has enabled not only production optimization but also a rapid and flexible response to market trends."

Dassault Systèmes and Hanyang University Establish Certification Center to Foster Talent for the Fourth Industrial Revolution
Dassault Systèmes Korea announced that it will establish a Dassault Systèmes Certification Center at Hanyang University's Education Center and conduct certification examinations to actively cultivate core talent for the Fourth Industrial Revolution, including smart factories. Dassault Systèmes held a plaque unveiling ceremony at Hanyang University's Education Center with the attendance of Pierre Méville-Blanché, Senior Vice President overseeing the CATIA brand at headquarters, and conducted a special lecture on the theme of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The Dassault Systèmes 3DEXPERIENCE Platform certification is a credible certification examination conducted over 35,000 times worldwide, focusing on evaluating practical skills in utilizing the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform. Therefore, it is expected to have high applicability in actual work processes and can also be utilized in evaluating the work performance capabilities of practitioners. Through the introduction of the Dassault Systèmes Academy Member Program, Hanyang University plans to provide students with more systematic education on the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform, which is widely utilized across various industrial sectors. Dassault Systèmes expects this program to enhance the competencies of students preparing for employment while also contributing to improvements in the curriculum level of related subjects. Following the government's recent announcement that it will newly establish national certifications for Fourth Industrial Revolution-related occupations such as robot component and software development and 3D printer operation, interest in new industrial sector certifications has been rising. In line with the increasing demand for more specialized and credible certifications, Dassault Systèmes plans to actively cultivate core talent for the Fourth Industrial Revolution, including smart factories, through the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform certification. Databricks Unveils Open AI Security Monitoring 'Lakewatch'
Databricks entered the security market on March 24 by unveiling LakeWatch, an open-source agentic SIEM. The core functionality of this product is to integrate and analyze security, IT, and business data in a single environment to support AI-based threat detection and investigation. The company explained that it reduces the limitations of existing security operations centers, which have had to forgo some data due to high cost structures, and enables large-scale data analysis and automation based on open formats and ecosystems. LakeWatch is currently offered as a private preview, with Adobe and Dropbox mentioned as early customers. Databricks also announced an expanded partnership with Anthropic as well as the acquisition of Antimatter and SiftD.ai.
