Low-noise case, cooling brand Fractal Design Define R5

Serin C&I has launched the Define R5 Solid Case series from cooling brand Fractal Design, a case that pursues low-noise Scandinavian design that originated in Gothenburg, the largest trading port city in southwestern Sweden.

This Define R5 from Fractal Design is released in three colors, and it is an ultra-low-noise concept with soundproofing material applied to both side panels. It comes in three types: the all-black Blackout Edition, the Titanium Edition with a metal hairline, and the pure white White Edition.

Define R5 is a product that has proven to have low noise levels of 21.2 db, which is lower than the sound of falling leaves, through noise reduction tests by the ORFIELD laboratory, which is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the quietest place in the world.

The interior of the case features a freely interchangeable HDD/SSD cage system, providing ample internal space to accommodate a graphics card of up to 440 mm and a high-performance CPU cooler of up to 180 mm, making it ideal for configuring a high-performance system.

Additionally, the air holes on the top of the case can sometimes help increase cooling efficiency, but can also increase noise, so we provide a Modvent fan cover that uses soundproofing material to completely block these air holes, and we apply removable dust filters on the front and bottom of the case to minimize foreign substances from the outside and make cleaning easy.

It offers a high level of expandability, with a total of 10 2.5-inch drive bays, including two dedicated tool-free SSD bays, eight 3.5-inch HDD bays, and two 5.25-inch ODD bays, and a built-in fan controller that can control the cooling fan speed in three stages is also installed as standard.
