Microsoft Korea to Host Xbox Gaming Tour

Microsoft Korea held the '2017 Xbox PC Gaming Tour' at Cheongdam Cinecity M Cube.
At this event, Microsoft announced its strategies and future plans for the PC gaming sector, and provided an opportunity to play various games directly on PC, including Forza Horizon 3, Halo Wars 2, and Dead Rising 4. In addition, news regarding the release of Minecraft cards for PC/Mac and the signing of a partnership between Forza and Porsche were also announced.
Zeph Stuart, General Manager of Xbox and Windows Gaming for Microsoft Asia, delivered a welcoming address and introduced the situation of the Korean PC gaming market and Microsoft's strategy for the PC gaming sector. He introduced Game Mode, Game Bar, and Beam services, which can be experienced through the Windows 10 Creators Update.
Next, Todd Stevens, Director of the Minecraft Partner Program, introduced the Marketplace scheduled to launch this spring and announced plans to release Minecraft cards for PC and Mac. The Marketplace is a content sales platform where creator-made skins and items can be bought and sold within the Minecraft game.
On May 5th, Minecraft PC/Mac cards will be released at over 10,000 convenience stores and discount stores nationwide. The card contains a Minecraft download code for the Windows 10 edition.
"The Windows 10 Creators Update is just the first step toward providing the optimal PC gaming environment," said Yoo Woo-jong, Senior Vice President of the Consumer & Devices Business Unit at Microsoft Korea. "Microsoft will continue its efforts to provide a better gaming environment with features such as Game Mode, Game Bar, and Beam services."

Microsoft Korea Launches RTS Game Halo Wars 2 in Korea
Microsoft Korea announced today that Halo Wars 2, one of the representative game titles of the Xbox franchise, will be officially launched in Korea. Halo Wars 2 will be released in Xbox One and Windows 10 PC versions and supports Korean subtitles. Developed by 343 Industries and Creative Assembly, Halo Wars 2 is an RTS game that unfolds 28 years after the previous title, depicting the conflict between the Spirit of Fire crew landing on the Ark—the birthplace of Halo and a legendary space installation—and Atriox, a new enemy seeking to seize the Ark.
