LG Uplus announced the launch of the 'Parental Safety IoT' package, a product specifically designed for the elderly.

The Parents' Safety IoT Package, launched to commemorate Parents' Day, consists of two packages—a basic type and an optional type—based on products such as the 'Open Notifier,' 'Gas Shut-off,' and 'Plug,' which are in high demand among the 70-80 year old seniors or customers in their 40s and 50s with elderly parents, out of a total of 36 types of LG Uplus IoT products.

The basic model consists of 'open notifications' (2 units), 'gas shut-off device' or 'plug' (select one), and 'IoT hub dongle type', and is available for 5,500 won per month (including VAT). If you want, you can also add a home CCTV to the package.



The optional package, designed for the elderly households without internet access, includes 'Open/Close Alert' (2 units), 'Gas Shut-off' or 'Plug' (choose one), 'IoT Hub Moa 510', as well as an LTE router, all provided without a separate device cost (95,600 won/VAT included), allowing all products to be used for 15,950 won per month (VAT included).

In particular, for customers who sign up for the Parent Safety IoT Package during the month of May, benefits such as a three-month waiver of the package basic fee (Basic type (5,500 won), Select type (12,100 won) / VAT included) will also be provided.
