- A global distribution agreement covering ADI's entire RF IC portfolio and signal processing technology

December 8, 2011 – Analog Devices ( www.analog.com ), a global leader in high-performance semiconductors and a global data converter market leader, announced today that it has entered into a worldwide sales and distribution agreement with Richardson RFPD, Inc. Richardson RFPD, a global distributor of RF and microwave components, will support the design-in of high-performance RF ICs alongside ADI's full range of analog, mixed-signal, and digital signal processing products. ADI's RF ICs and signal processing technologies are currently supported through Richardson RFPD's offices in North and South America, and will be available through Richardson RFPD's offices in Europe, the Middle East, China, the Asia-Pacific region, and Japan in the first half of 2012.
ADI supplies a high-performance RF IC portfolio covering the entire RF signal chain, ranging from industry-leading data converters, amplifiers, MEMS, digital signal processors (DSPs), and power management ICs, as well as key functional blocks (e.g., PLLs, mixers, power detectors) to highly integrated near-field single-chip transceiver solutions. These technologies all constitute a perfect design and play an important role in transforming, controlling, and processing real-world phenomena occurring in various applications.
