ATEN Korea announced that it is launching an extender (VE849) capable of wirelessly transmitting up to five display signals input via HDMI interfaces.

With the IR remote control provided with the purchase of the VE849 wireless extender, you can remotely switch the input HDMI source without directly operating the terminal, and simultaneously view one local and up to four wirelessly connected HDTVs.

Users can wirelessly transmit 5.1 channel Dolby Digital audio, 3D technology, and 1080p resolution video content within a wireless coverage radius of 30m, thereby reducing additional installation costs. For example, compared to wired extenders, it eliminates the inconvenience of cable management and simultaneously reduces additional maintenance costs associated with broken wires or line damage.

Key applications include the ability to wirelessly deploy video content in digital signage configurations for places such as showrooms, retail stores, and car dealerships. In addition, presentations and video conferences can be shared in four different locations using a single terminal.

In addition, with the support of Dynamic Frequency Selection (DFS), Wi-Fi signal interference is minimized even in environments where various wireless devices are used simultaneously, and 3D data can also be transmitted wirelessly, reducing additional costs.
