Exhibition of small/medium-to-large prototypes and parts

The Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning announced that it will participate in 'AUVSI's XPONENTIAL 2017,' the world's largest unmanned vehicle expo held in Dallas, USA starting on the 8th, to promote the technological capabilities of promising domestic small and medium-sized drone companies.

To this end, the Korea Aerospace Research Institute plans to operate a joint exhibition hall called 'KOREA PAVILION' with four companies participating in the public demand-linked small unmanned aerial vehicle technology development project, one company participating in the unmanned vehicle common technology development project, and four other interested companies, and aims to emerge as a leading nation in unmanned aerial vehicle technology.

The joint exhibition hall plans to display prototypes and components (11 types) of small and medium-to-large unmanned aerial vehicles, and distribute promotional videos and directory books from domestic companies. The Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning supports the export of excellent technologies and products by domestic companies and assists in the exchange of information on next-generation new technologies and the establishment of global cooperation networks.

In particular, the small unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) prototype is a research outcome of the Public Demand-Linked Small UAV Support Project, which the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning has been supporting since last year with the aim of creating an initial market.

To ensure that the event does not end with the exhibition but provides practical assistance to SMEs, we support the Intellectual Property (IP) Sangdama service by professional patent attorneys, which includes on-site consultations with overseas investors and research institutions, coordinating the scope of technology disclosure during contract signing, and offering legal advice.
