LG U+ will release the U+ Pocket Beam, a portable mini beam projector that allows users to enjoy high-definition HD video, on the 12th.

U+ Pocket Beam can implement display image quality such as △16:9 wide HD (1920X720) resolution specialized for video viewing △63 laser ANSI lumens (ANSI lm) brightness based on Sony optical engine △auto focus and keystone function that automatically adjusts the focus and tilt of the beam image with a product price in the mid 300,000 won range.

Unlike other projectors that use LED light sources, this projector features Sony's Laser Beam Scanning (LBS) module, delivering an impressive contrast ratio of 80,000:1 and rich color expression. It can produce a 120-inch display from a distance of approximately 3-4 meters from the screen.

Equipped with the Android OS, it supports the "U+ Pro Baseball," "ONE Store," and "U+ Box" apps. Viewing this content on existing projectors required a direct cable connection to a PC or smartphone mirroring. U+ Pocket Beam can run apps on its own through wireless internet connection such as Wi-Fi or smartphone tethering without connecting to an external device.

The Beam is equipped with a large-capacity 3,500mAh battery, allowing for approximately two hours of playback without a wired connection. It also features a built-in 0.7W speaker and 4GB of built-in memory, along with a microSD card slot for expanded storage. A tilt-adjustable stand is attached to the bottom of the Beam, and a separate stand and carrying pouch are included.
