CA Technologies and Uclick Partnership to Enhance Open API Security
Published2017.05.11 18:50With the advent of the mobile and fintech era, traditional companies as well as startups are opening up their data and applications to partners, developers, and cloud services via Open APIs. CA and Uclick plan to provide customers with solutions covering the entire API lifecycle, ranging from preliminary consulting on revenue generation strategies utilizing Open APIs to system architecture design. Their strategy is to focus on the financial market, where demand for Open APIs is high, and to expand into the manufacturing and service sectors in the future.
CA and Uclick have accumulated field experience by conducting Open API projects across various industries, including Koscom, major domestic financial holding companies, and telecommunications companies. Koscom has built and is currently operating the 'Capital Market Joint Fintech Open Platform' using CA's APIM solution.
Michael Choi, President of CA Technologies Korea, said, “Open APIs have established themselves as a core competitive advantage for businesses regardless of size. However, open API platforms that lack proper management and security can pose risks to businesses,” adding, “We will collaborate with Uclick, which possesses diverse customer bases and technological capabilities, to support domestic IT companies in safely opening and managing APIs.”

AWS: How Far Has It Come?
140년 전통 제조업체 GE가 자신들을 ‘스타트업’이라 지칭했다. 클라우드를 도입하며 시작 단계에 섰다는 것이다. 지난 19일 열린, 아마존의 웹서비스 AWS 서밋 기조연설에서 염동훈 대표는 개발과 운영의 혼합된 형태인 데브옵스(DevObs)를 언급하며 “기존에는 새로운 버전을 구매하는 형태였다면, 이젠 구매가 아닌 업데이트를 생각해야 한다.”고 말했다. 또한, 염대표는 "이미 많은 기업이 고민을 마치고 클라우드를 시행하고 있다.”며 “클라우드는 더는 고민할 것이 아니다.”고 말했다. 그의 말에 따르면, GE는 9,000개의 기업내 워크로드를 AWS로 전환했고 3년 내 34개의 데이터센터를 4개로 축소할 계획이다. AWS 전환 후 현재 스코어는 기존 대비 52% 비용 절감, 비즈니스 어플리케이션 제공 속도 77% 향상, 운영 배포 사이클 주기 단축 몇 ‘일’에서 몇 ‘시간’으로, 고객 및 시장 대응 240% 향상이다. 아마존의 R&D 과정은 자사에 직접 시뮬레이션 과정을 거친다. 그렇게 데이터 레이크(DATA LAKE) 클라우드 스토리지 S3이 형성됐다. S3는 지멘스, 혼다, GE까지 포괄하는 다양한 옵션을 제공하고 편의에 따라 변환할 수 있다. 여기에 아마존의 딥러닝을 더해 프로그래밍과 데이터 알고리즘, GPU기능을 갖췄다. 삼성 SDS의 SCM(공급망관리) 고도화 위한 클라우드 활용 사례 지난해 미국의 물류 전문지 저널오브커머스에서 ‘물류 분야에 성장을 이끄는 회사’를 주제로 삼성SDS의 특집 기사를 싣기도 했다. 삼성SDS의 물류 사업 중심에는 첼로(CELLO)가 있다.

[Going to the IR site] I looked into which startups were receiving investment.
Six companies stood before sharp angel investors, accelerators, and individual investors. These were companies that had succeeded in fundraising after beating out some 40 competing firms. The industries these companies operated in were diverse as well. They showcased their appeal across various sectors ranging from fintech to handcrafted automobiles and wave power generation. And the figures were substantial. "We need 2 billion won." "Apple and Google started this way too. Is there any law that says Apple shouldn't emerge in South Korea?" Without exception, these companies were filled with confidence in success, but at the same time, they harbored desperate hopes for investment. We met promising companies standing before the 'valley of death'—the investment hurdle that must be crossed for companies to grow.

Databricks Unveils Open AI Security Monitoring 'Lakewatch'
데이터브릭스가 3월 24일 개방형 에이전틱 SIEM ‘레이크워치’를 공개하며 보안 시장에 진입했다. 이 제품은 보안, IT, 비즈니스 데이터를 단일 환경에서 통합 분석해 AI 기반 위협 탐지와 조사를 지원하는 것이 핵심이다. 회사는 고비용 구조 때문에 일부 데이터를 포기해온 기존 보안관제의 한계를 줄이고, 개방형 형식과 생태계를 바탕으로 대규모 데이터 분석과 자동화를 가능하게 한다고 설명했다. 레이크워치는 현재 프라이빗 프리뷰로 제공되며, 어도비와 드롭박스 등이 초기 고객으로 언급됐다. 데이터브릭스는 앤트로픽과 협력을 확대하고 안티매터, SiftD.ai 인수도 함께 발표했다.

Kaspersky Unveils Revamped 'NEXT' Combining SOC Integrated Management and AI Analytics
기업들이 보안관제센터(SOC) 구축과 운영에서 통합 관리와 자동화 수요를 키우는 가운데, 카스퍼스키가 자사 B2B 보안 제품군 ‘카스퍼스키 넥스트’의 개편 내용을 공개했다. 이번 업데이트는 OSMP 기반 단일 콘솔로 EPP·EDR·XDR·SIEM 연계를 넓히고, DLL 하이재킹 탐지와 계정 탈취 의심 행위 식별 같은 AI 기능, 생성형 AI 보조도구 KIRA 연동을 담았다. 회사는 대규모 배포 환경에서 EDR Expert는 최대 30%, XDR Expert는 최대 60%까지 자원 요구량을 낮출 수 있다고 밝혔다.
