Combining the Internet with radio broadcasting

Xperi Korea is DTS announced that it will be demonstrating DTS Connected Radio, its hybrid radio technology for automobiles, for the first time in Korea at the 27th Korea International Broadcasting/Audio/Lighting Equipment Show (KOBA) held at COEX in Samseong-dong until the 19th.

DTS Connected Radio technology integrates Internet access into radio broadcasting and can be used with all analog and digital radio stations, including AM, FM, DAB+, DRM, and HD Radio. This means that when listening to radio stations with Connected Radio technology in a car, users can access broadcast information, weather conditions, traffic information, and more, for a more interactive user experience.

The KOBA exhibition, co-hosted by Korea E&X and the Korea Broadcasting Engineers & Technicians Association, is an event where cutting-edge broadcasting and audio technology is showcased along with various video equipment, audio equipment, and lighting equipment. Xperi's DTS technology demo zone will be set up in the CBS booth (Hall C441). Xperi Korea participates in the KOBA event every year in collaboration with CBS, and this year, it will be demonstrating a live CBS radio broadcast using DTS Connected Radio technology.
