Agilent Korea Launches Portable Digital Multimeter and Announces Enhanced LCR Meter

Agilent Korea (President Kim Seung-yeol) announced that it has expanded the LCR meter functions of its new portable digital multimeter models, the U1230 series and U1730C series.

The U1230 series digital multimeter for electrical and HVAC (heating, ventilating, and air conditioning) installation and maintenance provides features that simplify daily tasks requiring measurements outdoors in darkness and noise. It offers 3.5-digit, 6,000 counts, and a built-in flash can illuminate the user's work area when taking measurements in dark spaces or at night.

Furthermore, it enables continuous measurement even in noisy working environments through a unique combination of loud warning sounds and a flashing backlit display. Additionally, contactless AC voltage detection helps users measure safely and avoid high-temperature wires, while alerting users to danger through warning sounds and flashing lights. All models feature a compact, ergonomic case and an easy-to-use control dial.

The U1730C series LCR meter is an extension of the U1730B model, featuring selectable test frequencies up to 100 kHz and measurement accuracy improved by up to 0.2% compared to the previous U1730B model, and provides automatic component identification that displays a detailed analysis of parameters such as device type, total impedance, DC resistance, and equivalent series resistance.
