Schneider Electric Korea announced that it will showcase integrated power protection solutions at the World IT Show, held at COEX from May 24th to 27th, in collaboration with data center solutions partner KMPower. The company will showcase UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) solutions tailored to the needs of various scales and characteristics, from homes, offices, and small businesses to data centers, as well as infrastructure solutions for networks and server rooms.

This exhibition will showcase a diverse power protection portfolio, ranging from home solutions that protect household electronics, such as home communication devices and PCs, from power outages and unstable power supplies, to business solutions that safeguard critical business equipment and applications, including data centers. Representative power protection solutions include the Smart-UPS product line, the Symmetra PX, and the Back-UPS, demonstrating optimal infrastructure solutions for small and medium-sized IT environments.

Smart-UPS VT is a high-performance power protection 3-phase UPS featuring a compact design and extended runtime. It is a popular product in both domestic and international markets, with over 20 million units sold worldwide. It is composed of various models and can be applied to various environments such as small data centers and critical applications with power ranges of 15 to 40 kVA.

In addition, availability is improved by providing hot-swappable battery modules, a battery enclosure for extended runtime, dual mains pressure, and automatic and maintenance bypass. Furthermore, the soft-start function reduces the proportion of electrical infrastructure such as cables, transformers, and generators, ensuring reasonable maintenance costs. Furthermore, it achieves up to 96% efficiency even at low loads, minimizing energy loss and operating costs, thereby lowering the total cost of ownership (TCO).

The Symetra PX 160kW, a high-efficiency UPS for power protection, doubles the power output of the previous Symetra PX 80kW and features improved battery, bypass, and rack integration. This increases space efficiency by 63%, significantly enhancing flexibility and availability for small and medium-sized data centers. Furthermore, Schneider Electric's infrastructure, encompassing power, cooling, software, and services, enables standardization and modularization, enabling customers to scale their data center architecture on demand, making it an ideal data center solution for power management in cloud computing environments.
