Ansys Korea Hosts 'Ansys Conference' for Engineers
Published2017.05.26 18:29Ansys Korea successfully held the '2017 Ansys Conference' at Yangjae EL Tower for approximately 900 Ansys customers and industry representatives.
The 2017 Ansys Conference opened with a keynote speech by Hanyang University President Lee Young-moo. Under the theme of 'Engineering Innovation,' President Lee delivered a speech regarding innovation through prototypes in the manufacturing industry and the attitude of engineers facing the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
Following this, Dr. Jun-sik Yoon of Ansys conducted a session on the topic of "Ansys-based ADAS (Advanced Driver Assist System) Development Solutions." He explained, "To ensure the safety and reliability that autonomous vehicles can replace humans, testing on an astronomical scale is required." He added, "Simulation is essential not only for achieving test execution goals but also for aspects such as generating driving scenarios, predicting sensor performance, and developing algorithm models."
In addition to ADAS, simulation technologies related to CPS (Chip Package System), CE (Conducted Emission), and 5G garnered attention at this conference. Time was dedicated to in-depth analysis of multiphysics analysis cases for packages and PCBs, simulations for resolving electromagnetic interference issues, and design technologies for future communication environments.
In addition to this, expert sessions were held in major fields such as fluid mechanics, structural mechanics, and electrical and electronic engineering. Each of the 21 sessions was attended by clients and experts from companies such as Samsung Electronics, Doosan Heavy Industries, LG Innotek, POSTECH, and Hanyang University, and received significant attention as the latest technologies and various simulation cases by industry sector were introduced.
"We feel that the role of engineering simulation is growing in various industrial sectors," said Yongwon Cho, CEO of Ansys Korea. "Ansys will continue to support advanced simulation solutions in new technology development fields such as autonomous vehicles and 5G, as well as in fields facing environmental changes such as chip packaging systems and CE."

앤시스 코리아, 성균관대에 네 번째 시뮬레이션 소프트웨어 기증
앤시스 코리아는 성균관대학교에 앤시스 시뮬레이션 소프트웨어 전 제품군을 기증했다. 이는 포스텍, KAIST, 한양대학교에 이어 네 번째로 미래 공학 분야를 선도하는 글로벌 인재 육성 지원을 목적으로 한다. 앤시스의 대학교 교육 지원 프로그램인 다중 물리 캠퍼스 솔루션은 학부 수업에서 사용할 수 있는 티칭 라이선스와 교수진 및 대학원에서 사용 가능한 리서치 라이선스를 포함한다. 성균관대에 기증된 소프트웨어는 최대 5,000명의 학생들이 수업용으로, 500명의 인원이 연구용으로 동시에 접속하여 사용할 수 있는 규모다.

Databricks Unveils Open AI Security Monitoring 'Lakewatch'
데이터브릭스가 3월 24일 개방형 에이전틱 SIEM ‘레이크워치’를 공개하며 보안 시장에 진입했다. 이 제품은 보안, IT, 비즈니스 데이터를 단일 환경에서 통합 분석해 AI 기반 위협 탐지와 조사를 지원하는 것이 핵심이다. 회사는 고비용 구조 때문에 일부 데이터를 포기해온 기존 보안관제의 한계를 줄이고, 개방형 형식과 생태계를 바탕으로 대규모 데이터 분석과 자동화를 가능하게 한다고 설명했다. 레이크워치는 현재 프라이빗 프리뷰로 제공되며, 어도비와 드롭박스 등이 초기 고객으로 언급됐다. 데이터브릭스는 앤트로픽과 협력을 확대하고 안티매터, SiftD.ai 인수도 함께 발표했다.
