Published2017.05.29 15:07FPT Software conducts research in Internet of Things (IoT), cloud, and artificial intelligence (AI), and is developing software capable of recognizing license plates, vehicles, people, and traffic signals through test operations on the FPT University campus.
The company operates four branch offices within Vietnam and possesses foreign language conversation capabilities (English, Korean, German, Chinese, etc.) for overseas internships and personnel outsourcing, in addition to research activities. As IT technology advances, demand for personnel is increasing. When it becomes difficult to expand investment in R&D operations, it is expected that Vietnamese personnel support can enable continued operations.

"ICT That Changes Everything": World IT Show Held
The "World IT Show 2017" event will be held for four days from the 24th (Wednesday) to the 27th (Saturday) at Seoul COEX Halls A, B, and C, with the participation of approximately 450 domestic and international companies. The World IT Show, hosted by the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning and sponsored by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and Seoul Metropolitan Government, is the largest-scale ICT (Information and Communications Technology) exhibition held domestically for the purpose of promoting Korea's ICT technology abroad and activating related industry business. From KT 5G to various IoT technologies, you can find them at WIS 2017
KT will participate in "World IT Show 2017" (hereinafter WIS 2017), the nation's largest information and communications exhibition held at COEX from the 24th to the 27th, presenting an exhibition pavilion under the theme of "Experiencing PyeongChang 5G in Advance." KT has organized its exhibition pavilion into a total of 2 zones: ▲5G Network Zone ▲Convergence Service Zone. At the entrance of the exhibition pavilion, the "5G Network" zone is configured with C-DRX (Connected mode Discontinuous Reception), a smartphone battery consumption reduction technology for KT wireless subscribers. Through C-DRX, KT wireless subscribers can experience up to 45% increase in smartphone battery usage time. C-DRX improves upon the existing method where the device remains in a connected state during data usage, constantly consuming battery. Instead, it reduces battery consumption by deactivating communication functions when there is no transmission or reception. Within the exhibition hall, visitors can receive detailed explanations through HoloLens MR and appreciate a media facade shaped like a snowy winter using thousands of LED bulbs powered by electricity saved per second by all KT wireless subscribers. Upon passing through the media facade, visitors encounter 5G technology. The pavilion introduces speed, coverage, and equipment based on PyeongChang 5G specifications and provides augmented reality (AR) explanations of 5G technology through a diorama at the center of the booth. The front of the "Convergence Service" zone features VR equipment that allows visitors to experience KT's 5G services while enjoying various winter sports in an immersive manner. Through various VR equipment including luge, alpine skiing, bobsled, and figure skating, visitors can experience 5G services.

TI Unveils Multi-Axis Coreless Current Sensor TMCS2100-Q1 for HEV/EV Traction Inverters
Texas Instruments has unveiled the TMCS2100-Q1, a multi-axis coreless Hall-effect current sensor for HEV and EV traction inverters. By simultaneously measuring horizontal and vertical magnetic fields through multi-axis sensing technology, it achieves up to 20 times higher accuracy compared to conventional single-axis sensors, while the busbar-unmodified design provides mechanical design flexibility. It simultaneously meets the high-accuracy requirements and miniaturization driven by the expansion of 800V architectures.
