Moving CCTV, replaced by drones
Published2017.05.29 16:19The ITRC project is a field-oriented ICT human resource development project in which university researchers collaborate with industry to develop technologies that can be used in industrial settings.
38 centers from 30 universities participated, divided into six fields: future society safety/security, future society content/media, industrial ICT convergence, intelligent ICT convergence, smart life, and smart infrastructure.
Sungkyunkwan University's Intelligent ICT Convergence Research Center was selected for the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning's "Grand ICT Research Center" project and established and operates the Pangyo Software Convergence Graduate School on the Startup Campus in Pangyo Techno Valley. It conducts research on four topics: interaction design, big data intelligence, and smart/cloud component ICT convergence platforms.
Among these, the "real-time face tracking drone" technology tracks human faces, but currently only follows the front of the face. It maintains a fixed distance and tracks the person while maintaining that distance. The product demonstrated in the demonstration was set to a distance of 0.7 meters, but this distance can vary depending on camera performance. Faces captured by the camera can be displayed as video on a monitor. Intelligent image detection can be applied to the security market.

미래창조과학부는 미국 댈러스에서 8일부터 열리는 세계 최대 규모의 무인 이동체 엑스포인 ‘AUVSI’s XPONENTIAL 2017’에 참가하여 국내 유망 드론 중소기업의 기술력을 홍보한다고 밝혔다. 이를 위해 공공수요 연계형 소형 무인기 기술개발사업에 참여하는 4개 기업, 무인 이동체 공통 기술개발 사업에 참여하는 1개 기업, 기타 희망 4개 기업과 한국항공우주연구원이 함께 공동전시관 ‘KOREA PAVILION’을 운영하고 무인기 기술 선도국으로 나설 계획이다. 공동전시관에서는 소형/중대형 무인기의 시제품과 부품(11종)을 전시하고 국내 기업의 홍보영상과 디렉토리북을 배포할 예정이다. 미래부는 국내 기업의 우수한 기술과 제품의 해외수출을 지원하고 차세대 신기술 정보 교환과 글로벌 협력 네트워크 구축을 돕는다.

[Experience] Ski Jumping Virtual Experience, I Flies in the Sky!
보호장구를 착용하고 보니, 아찔한 점프대 위에 서 있었다. 무릎을 굽혀 자세를 취하고 보니 ‘VR이라 다행이다. 선수들은 이걸 어떻게 하나.’ 생각이 절로 들었다. 스키점프는 ‘허공을 날아’ 착지하는 스키 경기의 일종이다. 종목에 따라 90m와 120m 높이를 시속 80km로 헬멧과 스키에 의지한 채 내려온다. 영상은 CG와 360VR 두가지 버전으로 제작됐다. 스키점프 시뮬레이터는 위저드(Wizard)가 2013년부터 2016년까지 진행한 미래과학부의 ‘실감미디어산업’의 일환이다. 위저드의 김성욱 실장은 “VR콘텐츠지만 몸이 뜨며 실제 비행하는 것처럼 VR영상의 몰입도를 높였다.”며 향후 비행 체험 VR 영상을 확장해 나갈 계획이라고 밝혔다.

우리도 자율주행차 연구 '베트남에도 유능한 엔지니어 많아요'
월드IT쇼(WIS)에 베트남 소프트웨어 회사 FPT가 참가했다. FPT 그룹은 크게 FPT소프트웨어, FPT대학교, FPT주식회사로 구성되며 3만여명의 엔지니어가 근무하고 있다. FPT소프트웨어에서는 사물인터넷(IoT), 클라우드, 인공지능(AI)을 연구하며 FPT대학교 캠퍼스 내 시험운전을 실시해 번호판과 자동차, 사람, 신호 등을 인식할 수 있는 소프트웨어를 개발 중이다. 베트남 내 4곳의 지사를 운영 중이며 해외 인턴쉽 및 인력 아웃소싱을 위해 연구 뿐만 아니라 외국어 회화(영어, 한국어, 독어, 중국어 등)를 갖췄다. IT기술이 발전함에 따라 인력에 대한 수요는 늘고 있으나 R&D사업에 투자를 확대할 수 없을 때 베트남의 인력을 지원받아 운영할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

Ecolab and K-water Discuss Innovation Collaboration in Advanced Industry Water Management
Ecolab and the Korea Water Resources Corporation jointly discussed cooperation directions for maximizing water use efficiency in advanced industries such as semiconductors and data centers and establishing sustainable water circulation. The two companies agreed to gradually develop a long-term cooperation model that combines water resource infrastructure and water management technology to promote water efficiency optimization, water reuse, and carbon reduction.

에이지에너지가 태양광 발전예측 및 I-V커브 이상진단 기술로 중소벤처기업부 녹색기술인증을 획득했다. AI 기반 자산관리 플랫폼 솔라온케어는 전국 3,000개 이상 발전소에 적용되어 99.82%의 시스템 가동률과 3.7% 발전성능 개선을 달성했다. 실시간 데이터 분석을 통해 모듈 노화와 부분 음영 등 미세한 손실을 조기에 감지하고 관리함으로써 발전 수익을 보호한다.
