All-in-one PC optimized for VR with Ryzen
Published2017.05.31 10:14Dell unveiled two new products in its 'Inspiron' series optimized for gaming and VR (virtual reality) at 'Computex 2017' held in Taipei, Taiwan. These new additions to Dell's Inspiron series, which emphasizes practical features and reasonable prices, are the 'Inspiron Gaming Desktop' and the all-in-one PC 'Inspiron 27 7000 AIO,' equipped with AMD's next-generation multi-core processor, 'Ryzen.'
The 'SenseMI' technology in AMD Ryzen processors featured in this new product utilizes artificial intelligence to monitor temperature, frequency, and voltage via sensors and regulate CPU power consumption, thereby creating an environment optimized for next-generation PC usage such as gaming, VR, and video streaming. Additionally, it supports high-performance VR HMDs (Head-Mounted Displays) like the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive, providing an exceptional virtual reality experience.
The 'Inspiron Gaming Desktop' delivers a high-performance gaming environment at a reasonable price. As the first desktop PC introduced in the Inspiron Gaming product line, this new product integrates 20 years of Dell technology to satisfy a diverse range of users, from casual gamers to e-sports players. It is also equipped with a VR graphics card, up to 32GB of DDR4 memory, the latest cooling options, 7.1 channel HD audio, and Dell's audio technology, Waves MaxxAudio Pro. It features up to six USB 3.1 Gen1 Type-C ports, and offers a wide range of storage options, including SSDs and dual drives. The PC design stands out with a sophisticated aesthetic, featuring an enhanced air circulation system and blue LED lighting that allows the interior to be visible.
The Inspiron 27 7000 AIO, also unveiled, features Dell's proprietary ultra-thin bezel technology, InfinityEdge, and provides the best environment for multimedia content through a 27-inch display with 4K UHD resolution and high-performance audio. It is equipped with an AMD Polaris RX5000 series graphics card, a USB 3.1 Type-C port, and dual SSD drives, and also supports next-generation technologies such as Microsoft's facial recognition technology, Windows Hello, and Cortana, an AI assistant capable of long-distance voice recognition.
