Dassault Systèmes Opens Third '3DEXPERIENCE Lab' in Korea to Support Startups

Dassault Systèmes Korea announced that it is opening its third 3DEXPERIENCE LAB in Korea to support the nurturing of startups with the potential to innovatively change society.
3DEXPERIENCE Lab supports young entrepreneurs and startups in optimizing and validating products and processes in a more efficient way by providing them with the opportunity to experience virtual collaborative operations programs and related expertise that enable innovation in the product design, manufacturing, and support stages.
Dassault Systèmes expects that the opening of the 3DEXPERIENCE Lab in Korea will contribute to discovering and nurturing promising domestic startups, as well as promoting innovation and revitalizing the economy through the promotion of the domestic startup ecosystem.
The 3DEXPERIENCE Lab, scheduled to open on the 31st of this month, will be located in the InnoDesign building in Yeoksam-dong, Seoul. Since 2016, Dassault Systèmes and InnoDesign have been conducting the design accelerator 'DXL lab' project and the 'Design 2020' project, which allows emerging designers to learn and experience digital processes throughout the prototyping stage, by presenting the results and outstanding works of participating designers and providing investment support for designers.
Meanwhile, in connection with the opening of the 3DEXPERIENCE Lab, Dassault Systèmes is signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Seoul Metropolitan Government to prepare for a successful era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and to promote and support innovation among entrepreneurs. Dassault Systèmes and the Seoul Metropolitan Government will ▲ support the entrepreneurial activities of venture entrepreneurs, startups, and makers ▲ 2. We plan to support domestic startups in realizing their creative ideas by cooperating in various fields, including fostering next-generation industry experts in 3D modeling and simulation and supporting software environments for startups and small and medium-sized enterprises to create a 4th Industrial Revolution ecosystem, supporting innovation in startups leading social change such as sustainable cities, health/bio, and robotics, conducting joint research on the digital transformation and industrial development of traditional industries based on 3D modeling and simulation, and engaging in internal and external promotional activities.

Dassault Systèmes and Hanyang University Establish Certification Center to Foster Talent for the Fourth Industrial Revolution
Dassault Systèmes Korea announced that it will establish a Dassault Systèmes Certification Center at Hanyang University's Education Center and conduct certification examinations to actively cultivate core talent for the Fourth Industrial Revolution, including smart factories. Through the introduction of the Dassault Systèmes Academy Member Program, Hanyang University plans to provide students with more systematic education on the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform, which is widely utilized across various industrial sectors. Dassault Systèmes expects this program to enhance the competencies of students preparing for employment while also contributing to improvements in the curriculum level of related subjects. Following the government's recent announcement that it will newly establish national certifications for Fourth Industrial Revolution-related occupations such as robot component and software development and 3D printer operation, interest in new industrial sector certifications has been rising. In line with the increasing demand for more specialized and credible certifications, Dassault Systèmes plans to actively cultivate core talent for the Fourth Industrial Revolution, including smart factories, through the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform certification. Senior Vice President Pierre Méville-Blanché stated, "While I was already aware of Koreans' aspiration toward new industries, I witnessed greater possibilities through the diverse students I met at this special lecture," and added, "Going forward, Dassault Systèmes will continue to spare no support in cultivating talent who will play active roles in rapidly evolving advanced industrial fields."

Dassault Systèmes Presents 3DEXPERIENCE Applications at Hanover Fair
Dassault Systèmes will participate in the Hannover Industrial Expo for five days from April 24-28. The company plans to showcase how the 3D Experience platform connects departments on a digital basis and supports the creation of added value. The case studies will feature engineering company Bosch Rexroth and consumer goods packaging specialist Westrock. Rexroth performs system engineering by linking equipment programming languages with virtual models on Dassault Systèmes' 3D Experience platform. Through the application interface, developers can configure and test software, electronic circuits, and devices. Even after construction is complete, if modifications are needed, the virtual commissioning function can reduce nonproductive modification periods. Additionally, the early error detection function significantly reduces the possibility of rework. Visitors will be able to experience part of an operating factory environment through augmented reality demonstrations, seeing how maintenance processes are conducted and managed in actual production. Westrock allows visitors to experience a completely integrated and digitalized value creation process spanning the entire journey from reflecting customer requirements to shelf display at customer-facing stores. In fact, Westrock has reduced its packaging material development time from 18 months to 6 months. According to Dassault Systèmes representatives, platform adoption has enabled more systematic insight into the overall business process, making it possible not only to optimize production but also to respond quickly and flexibly to market trends.

Dassault Systèmes accelerates product development with P&G's consumer goods solutions.
Dassault Systèmes Korea announced that P&G, one of the world's largest global consumer goods companies, has adopted the 3D Experience Platform-based specialized solution for the consumer packaged goods industry. P&G, a long-standing customer of Dassault Systèmes that has been using design, development, and simulation applications, has upgraded to "Perfect Product" and "Perfect Package," specialized solutions for the packaged consumer goods industry on the 3D Experience Platform, enabling users to integrate data and connect with collaborating colleagues and customers. The Dassault Systèmes 3D Experience Platform supports P&G in realizing faster innovation, efficiently managing product production programs, and accelerating them in the demanding consumer goods market characterized by short product lifecycles, volatile raw material prices, and diverse customer requirements.

SalePoint Signs Multi-Year Partnership Agreement with AWS… Promoting Identity Security that Integrates Even AI Agents
Sailpoint has entered into a multi-year strategic partnership agreement with AWS and is moving forward with establishing an integrated governance system that manages both human and non-human identities together. The plan is to consistently manage access permissions in an environment where AI agents are increasing as work execution entities, while applying the principle of least privilege and automated policy enforcement. The two companies plan to jointly expand capabilities to manage the identities of various entities, including AI agents, within a single layer in the AWS environment. Databricks Unveils Open AI Security Monitoring 'Lakewatch'
Databricks entered the security market on March 24 by unveiling LakeWatch, an open-source agentic SIEM. The core functionality of this product is to integrate and analyze security, IT, and business data in a single environment to support AI-based threat detection and investigation. The company explained that it reduces the limitations of existing security operations centers, which have had to forgo some data due to high cost structures, and enables large-scale data analysis and automation based on open formats and ecosystems. LakeWatch is currently offered as a private preview, with Adobe and Dropbox mentioned as early customers. Databricks also announced an expanded partnership with Anthropic as well as the acquisition of Antimatter and SiftD.ai.
